Moon drops landed on the kelp filled seashore-
Marking the tide turning to then from before.
Mistakes and misgivings, together we swore,
Mandate or madness, I’d find you once more.
Lost in the sands, a grain among dunes,
Lingering in moments before all was in runes.
Listing and losing, our voices raised tunes-
Laughing, we sang through Posiden’s crashing booms.
Kindred souls, our finale filled the salty sea air
Keeping time with the waves wind caught in our hair
Kept pulling us back to our meeting, then rare,
Killed by knowledge of now, set adrift without care.
