October is dawned
Yet the air is still dry
The grass is still crisp
The valleys still cry
Leaves, have they burnt,
Or turns with autumn’s kiss?
October shown a love
Unlike summer’s bliss
The comfort of October
Soothes rage of seasons
October waits between,
Full of fresh life lessons
The hummingbirds feel it,
The safety of this time
Life descends in crushes,
Rushes and honeysuckle vines.
When, oh when, will fall arrive?
October 1st
