Hemlocked Heart

100 times I have written a poem here
100 times I have published what I hold dear
100 times I have delighted in each view
100 times I have watched my words come true

I am so happy to have this journal, journey and song
I feel a shift in my voice as of late, detached so long

I find myself unable to write as I did this past June
These days my head have been hectic, it’s true,

Writing has been condensed by my inability to sit still
Yet,

100 times I have worked on these troubled lines
100 times I have looked deep into heart and mind
100 times I have wished for a smoother process
100 times I have returned to make feeling into thoughts

Thank you for reading! I can’t believe I wrote 100 poems. I feel like I just started this blog. Thank you for your patience with my unpredictable schedual. I love writing here and hope to do so for a long time to come!
